ReplyDeleteThe main component that I think is missing is phonics. I find my students really needing long vowel and short vowel instruction to help with their reading and writing. I also find some difficulty for my ESL students. The vocabulary is not very common (plow, pliers ETC.)
ReplyDeleteI do see some transfer for students who are practicing and working with blends.
